Frequently Asked Questions
-
You can get in touch via my contact page. There you can send a message outlining your enquiry, and I will get back to you with more information on how to book. You can also drop me a message on my Facebook and Instagram pages.
-
Yes most bookings will require a deposit in order to secure the date. This will be discussed with you before booking.
-
Deposits are taken via Bank Transfer (BACS), and it will be discussed when booking how the remaining balance will be paid.
-
Yes I have my own full PA system, plus some lighting, so you are guaranteed a professional show in both sound and looks.
-
The ideal performance space would be about 3×3 metres as a rough guide. However I do have both a large PA and a smaller PA setup available, so I can work in a variety of venues and spaces.
-
This depends on how easy it is to get my equipment into the venue. I prefer to be set up before any guests arrive, and I like to have at least 45 minutes to do this and have a thorough soundcheck. This means I will usually arrive around 1 hour/1.25 hours before the guests are due to arrive, so I have plenty of time.
-
I will always try my best to be flexible with timings to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. The only time it may not be possible to change, is if I have another booking before or after your event. If any of the timings need to change before the event, just get in touch and we can discuss this in detail.
-
Yes I can provide an Ipod service before and between my sets at no extra charge. I can try and cater this to fit in with your theme or can play a general mix of music - obviously this can be discussed further. I can also offer this service after my final set up until the venue closes, but this will incur an extra charge.
-
My set lists have been created over many years of gigging and seeing what audiences react to best, and I always try to include songs I think everyone will know. I am of course happy to chat through any set lists and make changes where needed, and of course will try to include your favourite songs.
-
If a song isn't included in the standard set list sent to you, there is still a good chance that I will know it, so please always ask. If there are any specific songs you would like me to learn, I am happy to learn up to 3 free of charge (providing I have enough notice before the event to do so), any more than this will incur an extra charge.
-
Any cancellations or rebookings will be considered, but there may be a fee charged. When booking you will be sent terms and conditions, which will include my cancellation policy. Obviously the first thing to do is get in touch and we can discuss further.
-
Booking directly with myself guarantees that you will get the best price for my shows. When you book with an agent or third party website, they will add on a fee for handling the booking, meaning that you end up paying more. Rest assured that when you book directly, you will still get the same show and a great service, but without the extra fees.

I require a room to get changed in and store my valuables - it helps if there is a chair and mirror available, and a power supply, and ideally the room would have a lock. Unfortunately toilets are not acceptable.
It is also nice if water or soft drinks can be supplied, and if the event runs through a mealtime, food would be desired but not expected.
